For auction is a vitage 35mm Rangefinder Canon Camera. There is no model number on the camera but the original Canon manuel is for Model III-A and IV-S. I suspect it is model III-A. The camera with accessories has been in storage for over 40 years. Included in the auction is (1) camera body with lense in a leather fold-out case. The only identifying marks on the camera are "Canon Camera Company Inc. Japan" and serial number 70556. The lense is "Serenar F:1.8 50mm, no. 72022." (2)Telephoto lens with sun shade, Chiyolo, Super Rokkor 1:2.8, f=85cm, no. 3991. In the leather case is a subcompartment in the cap holding a Tele Finder C.K.S. (3) A Weston Master II UniversalExposure Meter, patent date of 1949. (4) Canon Flash Unit B-II in a leather case. (5) The original manual. (6) The Canon steel film canister, two filters, and a Kopil Self Timer. A laundry slip used as packaging in the camera case is dated March 1953. This may have been the time of original purchase. The complete outfit comes in two leather cases, one for the camera and accessories and the other for the flash unit. This is an exceptional, complete outfit for the serious collector or photographer.
