Vintage Canvas Coal Mining Cap with Carbide Lamp Light Up for consideration is an Vintage Canvas Coal Mining Cap with Carbide Lamp Light. The canvas cap does have extra added piece to hook carbide lamp into. The cap is in rough shape with a large hole on the side and small holes around top and a little dusty. Inside the cap, the lining is really worn. The carbide lamp is tarnished but otherwise in good shape. On the bottom it has, Universal Lamp Co. - Springfield, Illinois - Made in the USA . On the top it has, Guy's Dropper. I am not sure of the age of this piece of history but I would say they have not used canvas caps in quit a while.
