Vintage Capodimonte Flower Basket Unusual Spiky Flowers-Hyacinths (?) As Is I recently bought this unusual, vintage Capodimonte flower basket at a local estate sale. This is being sold "as is" since, as is to be expected, t are a few chips on the flowers. The intricate form of this piece tends to "hide" the chips so they are not very obvious. I have pictured the worst place and another picture indicates the small chips, generally found on the spiky leaves. The bottom of the unusual urn style basket is marked with the blue crown and N as follows: Capodimonte Made in Italy I believe the flowers in this basket may represent hyacinths. They are in subtle shade os pastel blue, yellow and pink. I love the "moss" that covers the base of the flowers! This piece is 10 1/2 inches tall and it spreads out to about 9 inches. The base of the urn is 3 1/4 inches in diameter. The top of the urn is almost 6 inches in diameter. It is a great size for display! This piece is quite heavy for its size.
