A Carlton Ware Hovis novelty butter dish, measuring approx. 5.5 inches by 3.25 inches. This is in great condition with no cracks or crazing to the glaze. The only thing I can see is 4-5 tiny light brown spots inside the dish but I expect that these were there when the dish was made. A lovely retro item.
