This Butterscotch Bakelite Bangle is in excellent condition! It measures 3/8" thick, with a 2 3/4" opening (from inside top to inside bottom). This bracelet tests positive for Bakelite, both with hot water/smell and Formula 409 and Simichrome. The patina on this piece is quite beautiful, another indication of it's age, which dates to sometime between 1930 and 1940. T is one tiny (1/8" at most and pencil line thin) scrape, more of a rough spot than a chip, located on the edge of one side. Other than this very minor flaw, this piece is in fantastic condition! We did not even notice the mark until we ran our fingers across it and we could not capture it in the photos, only mentioning for absolute accuracy!
