Lovely carved and pierced hinged clamper bracelet made of dark moss green bakelite with a rose flower motif. There are six hole piercings in the front of the bracelet. The back is smooth. Width of bracelet is 1.25 inches. Opening is 1.75"x 2.5". See photo: one of six tiny nails on hinge is missing -- lower starting bid reflects this flaw. Nice wearable condition, though cleaning will be left to new owner. This item is not new, & is previously owned and worn in vintage condition.NO shipping outside US, no APO FPO shipping. Please look at my other BAKELITE AUCTION: a hinge brooch that has a similar flower design, though the bracelet is slightly darker colored bakelite. I believe this is a set, but I tried selling them together and got feedback that the colors did not match, so I am selling them separately. I 've had many questions about this piece, so here are some answers: It was/is:purchased from an assisted living center rummage sale.simichrome tested positive for bakelite.in the same shape as I found it (the metal part of the clamper shows some wear and tarnish and is missing 1 pin -- see photograph), I haven't cleaned it up - will leave that to new owner.holes are part of the design, nothing was embedded in them.
