Offered for your consideration is a fine vintage Case XX M 204-6" Miracl-Edge boning knife. Case made their kitchen knives in many different configurations over the years. Variations included finger-grooved or straight handles, full tang, dot system dated or not, thick blades, thin blades, etc. This is a full-tang knife with a finger-grooved handle. This great-looking example is from their Miracl-Edge series and it has a scalloped serrated edge. The knife has seen light use and remains in excellent condition with no problems. It has not been cleaned or buffed and remains original. The blade has not been sharpened and it's free of grinder marks or sharpening abrasions. The blade is very sturdy and offers almost no flex. The laminated hardwood handle is finger-grooved and remains tightly pinned. It shows very little of the dishwasher fade/bleaching, dryness, or water exposure that's so common to these handles. The wood remains dark and rich with a great feel in the hand. The handle is free of any cracks, chips, dents, or damage. The knife measures just over 10-1/2" in overall length. This would be an excellent replacement or spare for someone with an old Case XX Miracl-Edge set. A great vintage knife for the Case collector!!
