By Cass Toys of Athol Mass., a doll size 6 drawer Steamer Trunk. The inside of the lid has a small patch of heat discoloration on the paper lining. The top drawer needs repair, and the two drawers just below it have stains left by prehistoric Scotch Tape. The third tier of drawers are of good condition, and the bottom drawer is missing a drawer pull. (Incidentally, I did the research and a brass bullet casing from a .32 Cal. pistol round is a passable replacement.) There is no corrosion, and no major dents or dings. Measurements are approx. 10 inches x 10 inches x 17 inches. The trunk sports vintage travel stickers from the manufacturer, but I love a hint of history, so I will point to two stickers on the trunk lid (2nd to last picture) from United Van Lines (left side) and Bekins Moving and Storage (on the right side). Some little girl did some moving in her life and so did the doll inside this trunk. Obviously this was important to the little girl and to the history of this trunk as a longtime guardian of a much-loved doll. Questions welcome.
