ITEM :Vintage Cast Iron Lute/Fan shaped Incense burner. >You can see from the pictures that the incised patterned Top removes easily and reveals a bowl like burning area. >Top has incised work of leaves, vines, & bamboo; with 2 cut out Pear Shapes; and a lined open grill work toward the handle. > A basket work raised patterned is around the outside of the bowl shaped bottom. MARKED : Defiantly oriental looking?? CIRCA : ????Estate Item. SIZE : 8" long (including handle) x 5"wide x 1 3/4"deep CONDITION : Perfect Condition...! . COMMENTS: I was was told my a relative at the sale that this item was purchased overseas by the Dr. and that he had paid allot for the item, but he no other provenance about it. >Beautiful piece for any Museum??,collector or decorator. Recent purchase from local Doctor's Estate w the couple travel overseas allot....
