Vintage Cast Metal Figures 1940's Skiers Skaters In this auction you are bidding on a large and hard to find set with many cast metal figures from the 40's, which, I believe, were sold to be used with train sets maybe? This set has 20 pieces and are all around 2 1/4" tall. The condition is good for the age but you do have the little chips of paint missing on most all of the figures, but this could easly be retouched.I have seen a lot of these under the Barclay heading, but cannot be sure if this is what these are because these are not marked. They are possibly lead because of the weight. What you have in the lot are skiers with the skies & poles, ice dancers, skaters, horse drawn sleigh with man and woman and sleds with riders. These would make a great addition to your collection of Vintage cast metal figures. Please e-mail me if you have a question!
