Vintage sand pail from J. Chein with color litho design of two ducks in an old car headed for the duck pond. There is a turtle with a ladybug on his back, and a rabbit running down the path. Two chicks, one with a parasol and one with a sand pail, are already at the pond where a black duck prepares to dive off a diving board. Nice graphics, and colors are vivid and bright.Pail is 7.5" tall to rim (10.5" to top of upright handle) and 7" across the top. There is some staining on inside but outside is relatively unscathed by age. A bit of spotting to the paint on hat of duck riding in back of car, and a few light surface scratches. The rest of the paint looks quite good. There are four light shallow 1.5" long creases at top of rim on one side (right above car). Does not detract greatly, does not make pail look misshapen. Handle is intact, and attached firmly. There is light surface rust to it. See all 12 pictures for best description.Overall appearance is quite nice, and this would make a great addition to a vintage tin litho collection.
