Tom and Teri's Andtiques CHINESE SOAPSTONE CARVING VASE - ORNATE This is a nice Chinese Soapstone Carved Vase. Intricate in design and craftsmanship for sure! It is ornate with what appears to be Chinese Foo type dogs, though there is also a resemblance to monkey. (see photos) Great detailed bird on the left hand side too. (see photos) The upper vase has a small hole through the wall (see photo) that appears natural, but may not be. Could use a bit of cleaning if the buyer wishes. Otherwise not chipped, cracked, or repaired anywhere we can see. Dimensions: Height: Approximately 5 inches tall Width: Slightly over 2 inches wide front to back Length: Approximately 8� inches long left to right Weight: 2 lbs and 14 oz. (almost 3 pounds!)
