This auction is for a Civil War dated October 1863 requisition document filled out at Camp Chase Ohio. This document appears to be a requisition document for a Captain James Carey of the 24th Kentucky Volunteer Infantry, and it appears to be signed twice by captain Carey. Captain Waldo Davis of the 88th Ohio is to fill the requisition for Captain Carey. It was Camp Chase Ohio that was a Confederate Prison in Columbus Ohio, so this would be a neat document for your collection of some regiments that probably guarded Confederate Prisoners. Thanks for taking a look at my auctions.
