Vintage Cobalt Blue Art Glass Vase made from an old Geniune Phillips Milk of Magnesia Bottle. So, I purchase what I think is a cool old vase at an estate auction. On the bottom it says: Genuine Phillips, Made in USA. I have never heard of the glass maker "Phillips", so I am intrigued and research my new vase, only to find out that Phillips Milk of Magnesia Bottles have the aforementioned label on the bottom. Apparently, what I have is altered old bottle. Someone, heated up the old Phillips bottle and made a cool elongated vase from it! The vase is 12 1/4" tall and about 5" wide at its widest point and about 3 1/4" deep. No condition issue. Some roughness around the upper rim...but I have concluded that it is from the tool they grabbed it with, to pull it. Very interesting folk art piece and great cobalt color. Bottom says: Genunine Phillips, Made in USA and 5 and G (I think, the G is hard to read)Shipping will be actual cost calculated on the buyer's zip code. I ship USPS, parcel or priority--you decide.
