Up for bid is this wonderful,vintage, hammered aluminum, cocktail shaker. It was made by the Continental Co. and is hand wrought. The shaker stands approx. 12" tall and is 5" across the bottom. It has a beautiful Chrysanthemum embossed on the front--(It is on the front side when handle is on the right) the backside is just plain hammered aluminum. The top pulls off and is cork lined. The cork is in good condition. The spout is screw on--The inside of spout has a strainer. This shaker is in good condition with no dents, t is some surface scratching from use and the aluminum does have some pitting on the inside and on the screw off spout, which is very common on these aluminum pieces. This cocktail shaker is very classy and will make a great addition to any shaker or hammered aluminum collection. It would also just be great to use. Please ask any questions before bidding.
