jarhtay store Here is a stunning vintage dual mechanical locking bank in splendid condition. This is a heavy piece and the locking mechanisms work fine. The combination is taped to the bottom of the safe. This safe was made The Keyless Lock Company in Indianapolis, Indiana. I believe this was a salesman scale size model converted to a piggy bank with a slit in the back to drop in coin or folded bills. This is like I said a heavy piece despite its sizer of 4.5"x 6" because of the quality metals it is made of. There are a couple of condition details that should be noticed. On the right side, in picture two, there is a small chip in the panel at the bottom of the back panel. I'm not sure of the cause. It measures about 1/8"x3/4" right where the frame meets the panel. On the back of the safe at the top right hand corner there is a chip on the frame that measures 1/8"x1/4". This looks like it was chipped and broken off. Also, further down the same part of the frame is another very small chip that is highlighted in a picture. On a couple of places on the frame there are two hairline cracks, perhaps only surface cracks, I don't know. They don't affect the integrity of the piece and are probably from age. They are almost not visible and one has to be really looking for flaws to notice them. Like I said, there seems to be no affect at all read more
