The U.S Zone was established for administrative purposes in Germany for the period 1945-1949 after the Allied powers divided it into 4 occupational zones. This is a great example Colibri table lighter from that period. Marked on the bottom: Colibri, by Kreisler, made in Denmark-all on a brass stud. Lighter comes out and is marked: U.S Pat No 2671329 U.S Zone West Germany and Colibri by Kreisler Beaitiful inlaid silver flowers and leaves set into the casing. Will ship empty of gas, but it works fully, although it looks like it has never been used. 4 1/2" long, 2 1/2' wide and 3" tall. Great and rare piece! ! Low start and no reserve!
