This is a vintage Collins single bit axe & 25" original hickory handle that is in great to excellent condition with great maker's marks and most of the original Collins foil label. The original wooden handle is inscribed "Collins" also.The head is 7 3/4" end to end, 4 5/8" across the axe bit and weighs 4 lb 10.0 ozs. The handle is tight in the head.Please refer to close up detailed pics for more info.
