ATTENTION GIRL SCOUT MEMORABILIA COLLECTORS!! THIS IS YOUR CHANCE TO OWN A WONDERFUL PIECE OF GIRL SCOUTING HISTORY! This awesome uniform is the last remaining uniform that I have up for auction from an estate. It is a Senior Scout Girl Scout Uniform and it is in wonderful condition! The era this style of uniform was worn was from 1960 to 1973. The Girl Scouts could not wait to become a Senior Scout so they could proudly wear this professional looking uniform. It includes the top with red tie, skirt and hat. The top is short sleeved with one patch on the left shoulder. It states Girl Scouts U.S.A. T is one pocket at the left chest and 6 green Girl Scout buttons that line the front. T is a small button under the left collar for a piece of elastic to go around to keep the collar closed. The red tie snaps at the front. The back of the top has a ½ belt that is secured by a button on each side. The skirt buttons and zips up the back. It will fit a 26" waist and is 25 inches in length. The hat has the GS patch at the left side. The inside tag states it to be a size small. All pieces are in wonderful condition. On the inside of the hat, top and skirt t is a small piece of masking tape with the numbers 236 hand written on them. I do not know what the significance of this means but thought I would mention it.
