This auction is for a 1930's Effanbee composition/cloth "Lambkins" doll, 16" tall. She is clearly marked on the back of her neck (pictured). She is in fantastic condition for her age with no paint cracking or lifting. T is some very surface crazing on her arms and hands (very shallow) which I can only see under a bright light and up close. Her face paint is excellent with her painted upper and lower lashes and brows still present. Her lip paint has a couple of flea speck chips and she has an open mouth with a felt tongue. Her eyes are clear with no crackling (I think they're celluloid over tin) and they open/close smoothly. I believer her night gown and slip are original and she wears a replacement (but very appropriate) crocheted bonnet. Lambkins has her signiture gold ring on her left finger and her nails are painted with celluloid. T is a 1/4" paint chip on the underside of her left foot (pictured). Her head paint has a few small paint flakes but no crazing or lifting. Her mama squeaker no longer works. Her cloth body is excellent with no stains, rotting or tears or holes. This is a hard to find doll and especially in such wonderful condition, and an asset to anyone's composition Effanbee doll collection. I have other vintage dolls on EBay this week, so check them out, I combine shipping. I try to describe my items as accurately
