Up for auction is a vintage Conklin NOZAC fountain pen. Manufactured in USA, Todelo, Ohio, circa 1930s. The Conklin Nozac ("no sack") was named America's best "Sackless" self filler. (I can't get the cap off) There is a "WORD GAUGE" feature. Hot-stamped on the barrel is a scale reading in thousands (1-M, 2-M...) to keep track of how many words remained in the ink supply. Currently the ink is red, and the pen works great. There is some discoloration on the barrel. It looks to be from the red ink inside. The pen is in great condition, without any major damage,or teeth marks. The cap does have a very small crack just below the gold ring. It does have a Scheaffers Special Tip 45 with a minor bend at the tip. The pen is a Beautiful Green and Gold Iridescent Color in a Pin Striped Pattern. On the barrel 084394 and the US patent number embossed '066'. This Conklin is classically elegant and would make a nice additon for any collector. NO International Shipping!
