Cookie Jar - Teapot ShapeThis is a unique cookie jar with a picture of an owl, squirrel, bunnies, hedgehogs, frog and bird reading a book in a woodland setting.The scene reminds me of Beatrix Potter artwork but I can find no reference to this cookie jar being related to that artist.There are no markings on the jar so I have no idea of the age or manufacturer.It measures approximately 8 inches high and 9 inches wide.It is in good condition with no major cracks or chips. There a a few tiny chips on the base as seen in photos.There is crazing (a network of fine cracks in the surface or glaze).See photos # 6, 7 and 8 to see the crazing.I show this in the photos. It is easy to see this inside the pot and on the bottom but crazing exists on the outside surface also. In my opinion this does not affect its good looks.Please look at photos carefully.
