This is a wonderful vintage copper, brass and porcelain coal fireplace scuttle bucket. It has great blue and white 'Delft' porcelain handles. The carrying handle is attached with a couple of great Lions' heads. The scuttle is about 10 inches tall with it's foot, and about 11 inches wide. The foot is about 3 inches tall and flares to about 8 1/2 inches wide. The lip or pour spout stands off the counter about 14 inches. The porcelain handles are about 4 1/2 inches around and about 4 inches long. The porcelain is in wonderful condition and has no chips or cracks! The back handle stands about 10 inches from the counter. The rivited(?) carrying handle stands about 18 inches tall. Magestic lions' heads embellish each side of the scuttle at the carrying handle. This coal scuttle has been used and has it's original patena on it! It has a few minor dents and some scratches but overall it is in wonderful condition! Check out my other items !
