- Corning 8-inch Waffle Milk Glass Lamp/Torchiere Shade- 2-1/4-inch fitter- Vintage, in near-new condition- The shade is marked "Corning" inside in small numbers. Also has the number: 820120- A Corning catalog refers to this as an Allegheny torchiere diffuser shade made by Corning Glass Works in the 1960s, made of Monax opal glass with a cross-hatched waffle pattern.- This shade is in excellent, near-new condition, without chips or cracks. There are a few small black marks on the edge of the fitter (see last photo) that won't be seen when the shade is placed in a lamp.
