You are looking at a vintage 9 3/4" smooth bottom bench plane made in the USA by Craftsman tools. This plane carries a 1 3/4" cutter that is marked "Craftsman - Made in USA BL". The lever cap is also embossed with "Craftsman". Handle and knob are tight with no splits, cracks, or chunks. All adjustments work well. Blade has plenty of length and is very sharp. Plane shows very little wear except for some chipping finish on the front knob. This piece is completely rust free. This is a great user, or nice for the collector.
