Up for bid this auction is a gorgeous cut glass crystal set of 8 cordial sherry glasses with the matching decanter (decanter is 12in H with stopper and has a base size of 8in W) and silverplate serving tray (tray is 18in L X 12in W). Each glass is delicate and elegantly designed they look Waterford but I can't find a mark on anything. Glasses are 5 inches tall, 2 inches wide at the mouth, with a base that's about 2 1/8 wide. I don't know how old this set is, just that it was in an 88 year old lady's (Queenie) estate sale in Jacksonville Beach, Fl. Her son had alot of nice things that belonged to her for sale. Apparently she collected for many years and had a great eye for unusually nice objects. This is one of them. A complete set of cordial sherries with the decanter and silverplate tray. T are no cracks, imperfects, or fleabites ANYTHING on this set whatsoever! All pieces ring with a clear crystal tone and the glass feels rich and expensive.
