Stunning earrings made from Victorian cultured pearls and beautiful quality faceted vintage 50's clear crystal teardrops, hand strung onto 14ct rolled gold headpins, beads & ear hooks. For pierced ears, the earrings are 3.9cm in length, the pearls measure 5mm. Gold filled jewellery, also known as "rolled gold" or "rolled gold plate" is composed of a solid layer of gold, bonded with heat & pressure to a base metal and is over 50 times thicker than gold plate, the gold in these earrings is 14 carat. Gold-filled items, even with daily wear, can last five to 30 years and give the appearance of solid gold. The pearls & crystal teardrop s were originally from Victorian & 1950's necklaces, all rolled gold parts are new and the earrings are unworn. ~*~Annie’s Visually Vintage~*~ I have been designing & creating jewellery for 20 years.
