We are offering a GREATPIECE of Cuban Beer MEMORABILIA: Up for auction is an ORIGINAL Cuban “Cerveza CRISTAL” BEER can flat top. This GENUINE and RARE Beer CAN was produced in Marianao, Cuba at the BEER factory CERVECERIA LA TROPICAL, issued during the 1940s. IMPORTANT: This VINTAGE CAN has a small SPLIT on top because it was used by “LIGA CONTRA EL CANCER” CHARITY association to collect DONATION funds for CHARITY PURPOSES in Cuba. This AUTHENTIC and VINTAGE CAN measures app. 2 3/4” inches in diameter and 4 3/4” inches high. It is in overall GOOD condition, with oxidation on the top and bottom, some wear and use from time, minor discoloration. La Tropical was born more than a century ago, in Cuba, back in 1888, in Havana. It was here where Cuba's first beer, La Tropical, was brewed. Little by little, the small brewery kept growing until it became a large conglomerate of workshops, warehouses, labs, shipping vessels, train stations, parks, gardens, castles and terraces. The exquisiteness of the brand reached beyond the island's coasts to win awards in Europe and the United States, and the medals were displayed on its historic label.
