A Spectacular Estate Find! ~ This wonderful textile is a vintage French curtain panel that dates from the early 1950's ~ STUNNING woven damask silk and cotton mix front fabric with gorgeous large scale design!! This curtain is lined and interlined with heavy heavy cotton interlining. This panel has deep pleats at the top ~ The front fabric has a wonderful 18th century inspired design very similar to the Fortuny designs of the day ( however, this fabric was not produced by Fortuny ) . The silk has a beautiful gold tone and is a heavy weight fabric. Very difficult to photograph as the fabric has a stunning sheen! This textile would be lovely for hanging as a curtain or could be deconstructed for use as decorative pillow fabric. MEASUREMENTS: The (8) panels measures 43'' inches wide at the bottom by 45'' inches long 4'' Hem
