[zipedit] Description ***FREE WORLDWIDE PRIORITY SHIPPING*** This vintage Czech glass necklace contains rare, foiled satin glass beads in a spun honey color. This type of satin glass is glossy on the surface but has a beautiful, internal pearlescent effect that seems to move in the light like rippling satin, similar to a tiger's eye gemstone. It's very difficult to capture this in photos, much prettier in person. Satin glass can be hard to find, but the foiled beads are even more rare and desirable. These each have a band of silver foil around the center, which is encased in clear and amber glass. The six central beads also contain green glass. The effect is quite stunning. In wonderful condition with newer stringing.
