Vintage D.W. Brunton's, Polished aluminum case Brunton's pocket transit, compass # 25653. This one was built around 1914-1930? according to brunton. Original mirror uncracked very nice and rare; clean mirror, the glass have very little white spots on the inside looks like white paint? The aluminum bodies appear in different finishes; polished aluminum as in the 1894 original or the updated 1914 version , I have seen other ones, but this one is better shape, for a 75+ year old compass. This compass will be consider as Antique This is a D.W. Brunton's pocket transit compass. It is in used but in great working condition.
