NR- This is a N o R eserve Auction -NR I bought this at an estate auction. I am not an expert on swords. The tang is marked as shown in the photos. It is about 7" long. The wrapping on the handle has come loose and needs to be re-wrapped. The Tsuba is made of cast iron. The blade is 27.25" long from the the tip of the top of the brass guard which is 1-1/8" wide. This give the total length of steel as 35-5/8". It has a 11.5" handle and a total length of 40". If t is damageit will be noted in the item description, or clearly shown in the photos. Time does not always allow for answers to email questions.
