I am selling a lovely old chest of drawers. This is a gorgeous original piece in very good condition which has been carefully painted in Annie Sloan chalk paints followed by two coats of clear wax to give a hard-wearing finish. The main frame of the chest is in aged deep red and the drawers have been carefully stenciled with wisteria flowers and vines on a muted green backgroundDimensions: 41" wide, 18" deep, 31" high. Despite having painted professionally for many years, I have just started to sell my pieces on the internet so this is an ideal opportunity to own something unique. I aim to use paints in creative ways to produce beautiful pieces you will be proud to own. Please do not confuse my work with the hastily painted pieces which can often be found finished in a single colour of chalk paint. I only paint interesting pieces of furniture and each one has a colour scheme and finish which is carefully chosen to enhance its design. When these pieces of quality furniture were sold first time round, people would generally take time and care in selecting pieces that they would be proud to own and treasure for many years.
