Very nice Delft vase. This is from the late 1950's I think. It comes with a brochure that is dated 1957 on it. Purchased from an estate sale. The woman who owned it previously was a traveler. I think she brought this back from Denmark. I like the fact that it has the brochure. It has some very beautiful examples of Delft jars, and a history as well as what the trademarks should look like.Measures 8" high by 4" across the opening. Delftware is manufactured in Delft, on of the most beautiful and interesting old towns in the Netherlands. Her little streets edge canals which are lined with lime trees, and her history recalls such important European figures as William the Silent, who made his private residence t during the last years of his life........This is a beautiful vase, the design is very nice on both sides. It is a fluted style with a scalloped edge. It has all over crazing but is without any chips or cracks. Please email if you have any questions. Nicely wrapped!
