Gorgeous vintage chess set made in Italy in the 1960's. Designed by Elio Simonetti for Fontanini of Tuscany. The pieces are gold or silver on resin. This comes with the original box and a chess board. The chess board was made in Italy as well. I'm not sure if the chess pieces and the board were originally together, but I don't have any reason to not think so. The king measures approximately 4" tall. Clean pre-owned vintage condition showing minimal wear.
