You are looking at a wonderul vintage 'Picasso-like' vase by Desimone of Palermo, Italy. Giovanni DeSimone was an student and friend of Pablo Picasso and Picasso's influence on his creations is quite obvious. This vase is in very good condition with only 2 very small shallow flakes at the bottom of the vase(under the yellow in pic 2) and 2 small "chips" also at the bottom (seen in pic5) which were definitely done at the factory since the glaze goes into them. It is 8 1/8" high x 3 7/8" in diameter and is signed on the bottom "Desimone Italy 13". Shipping will be $10.00 for the continental U.S.A. International rates will be higher. Insurance is optional & extra & highly recommended since we cannot be responsible for the loss or damage of uninsured items. We prefer Paypal but also accept U.S. Postal Money Orders and personal checks with a 7 day delay for checks to clear. N.Y. State buyers to pay 8.75% sales tax. Please check our other auctions.
