This is one of several saws that we will have on Ebay. It "seems" to have a left hand handle. (?) The medallion says "H Disston & Sons, Philad'a" It has a balance scale in a shield and Pat Dec 27, 1887. The blade measures approx. 23 1/4". I believe that this saw belonged to my Grandfather who was a carpenter in the 1900 era. (he died before 1940). I do not know anything about saws, so if you have questions, please e-mail and I will be happy to take a pic or give further discriptions. On the handle, t seems to be a crack at the lower screw, and it appears on the back, but I do not see it going around. As the picture shows, I have not done anything to clean these up. Because I know nothing about these, please ask questions BEFORE bidding. These are "as is". I accept PayPal, Cashier's Check or Money Order.
