Up for auction is a excellent condition Vintage Dowl-It(Doweling Jig)Self Center. Drill Guide Manufacturer: Dowl-It Company Mfg Part#: 1000 Condition: Used and in excellent condition with no visible sign of wear. The Dowl-It is the best doweling jig a wood worker can own. It is completely self contained with no loose parts to get lost or go out of alignment. The patented self centering action insures accurate center drilling every time. The large steel clamping screw securely tightens the tool like a vise. The rigged aluminum sides are smooth to prevent marring or damage to the wood. A large 2" capacity will handle most requirements. The large steel guide center holes are precision drilled and reamed to exact size for extreme accuracy. Five popular hole sizes are provided: 1) ¼" 2) 5/16' 3) 3/8" 4) 7/16" 5) ½" The sizes are permanently cast into the sides and will not wear off. .
