Vintage Dremel Moto-Tool, Model 2 w/Metal Case and accessories. The moto-tool is still fully functional. The body of the tool is made of Bakelite. The metal shield at the business end still has "Pat. Pend." stamped in it. The tool has Patent Number 2,119,986 (circa 1938) on the body. The power cord is still in good shape although it is beginning to crack in places. The gray metal case is 9-3/8" X 5-1/2" X 3". The hinge and latch still work great. T are no dents or rust damage on the case, just some minor smudges from shelfwear. The large clip that holds the moto-tool body still has its black felt lining. T are slots for 22 attachments plus a square black stone which are all filled to include two additional collets for smaller shafts. T are six metal burr cutters, and various brushes and stones. The top of the box still has the Dremel decal in the center of the lid. The photos show the excellent condition (it is sitting on a mirror) You will not find many better examples of this fine old Model 2, Dremel Moto-Tool, especially with the case and attachments. As I said, it still works like a champ, but if you are going to use it much, I would make sure it has been cleaned and oiled first. I bought this set at an estate sale with some other power tools.
