Up for auction with no reserve is this vintage pair of extremely difficult to find "Dutch Boy & Girl" Match Holder/String Holders. They were produced in the 1940's-50s and are made of chalk. The Dutch Boy Match Holder/String Holder measures 6 1/2" high. It not only is a string holder but also a kitchen match holder. The Dutch Girl String Holder measures 7 1/2" high. They are each in very good condition with no cracks or chips (only very slight crazing and wear due to it's age and from being made of chalk). They each still have their original wire hangers on the back for hanging on the wall. All paint is original! The Dutch Boy Match Holder/String Holder alone lists in the 2008 Schroeder's Antiques Price Guide on page 520 for $345.00 . is a chance to get a very rare Dutch Boy Match Holder/String Holder and the matching Dutch Girl String Holder at a fantastic price!
