Vintage D&E JULIANA Set Watermelon and Art Glass Crystals Book Piece! Large Brooch & Clip Earrings Bold and Beautiful! Gorgeous D&E juliana set with watermelon, purple, and art glass crystals set in gold plated metal. The brooch is large measuring 3 1/2" long and 1 1/2" wide. The green navettes are open in the back and all stones are prong set. The watermelon and purple crystals are 3/4". I'll let the photos tell the story of this amazing set. The clip earrings are centered by a round watermelon crystal with a purple art glass leaf, a green open backed crystal, and topaz crystals to finish the design. They measure 1 1/4" tall and 1" wide. You can find this set in Marcia Brown's book Unsigned Beauties of Costume Jewelry , p.129 . D&E never signed their pieces. They only had juliana hang tags - long separated from this incredible set. D&E jewelry is noted for wonderful designs, quality craftsmanship, and use of only the best crystal rhinestones.
