Vintage EASTERN Airlines Passenger Boeing 727 Model Jet Plane Description This is for a Vintage EASTERN Airlines Passenger Airplane. No manufacture's name, but it is a quality model. It a heavy model of this realistic plane, not sure if it is plastic-poly construction or has some metal weight to it? Labeled "Eastern Boeing 727 Whisperjet?" Very realistic triple (3) engine jet model. (Sorry no stand for it.) This model has a few minor paint blemishes from years of display, but it is still a very nice model and should clean-up better. I was told that this old model was given to the Eastern flight crew as a present for their service. I also have an Eastern Airlines Officers Hat and another larger 727 plane model - email if interested them. (For those who do not know: Eastern Air Lines was a major United States airline that existed from 1926 to 1991. Before its dissolution it was headquartered at Miami International Airport in unincorporated Miami-Dade County, Florida.) This would be great for a pilot or historian of aircraft.
