6 Pretty Vintage Ecru Napkins-Madeira Hand Embroidered. A really pretty set of 6 napkins in a lovely ecru colour.....well I think that is the colour to describe them! The photographs are a good representation of the colour especially Image 3 and they are do document the different colours in the hand embroidery accurately. The yellow, turquoise and coral pink are very complementary both to each other and the taupe french knots and scalloped edge. They are just right for all those sunny afternoon teas which as an optimist I am determined to believe we can still plan even though the weather as I write is grey and troubled! The condition of the napkins is good but there are a couple of stains on two of them which I have tried to represent in Image 4. As you can tell the stain is very slight and I think all of the marks will come out with a few more washes.......the photograph shows my lack of ironing skills as much as the state of the mark sadly! The marks are compatible with the age and use of these items but if you like pristine items then these may not be for you however I think they are still delightful and have many years of use left in them.
