Beautiful Sterling Silver Lorgnette Early 1900's
Functional & Stylish
This is a beautiful piece of vintage antique jewelry worn by women in the late 1800's and early 1900's .
This fine vintage optical lorgnette is marked Sterling Pat. Nov. 24 1914 on the nose piece. T's also a hallmark that says LVP France on the chain.
T is fancy chevron feather engraving on the handle of the lorgnette that adds considerably to it's vintage Edwardian charm . It's in great condition for it's age, with only a few small scuffs to the lenses. The clasp on the lorgnette is in good working order.
We have not polished this beautiful piece of functional jewelry, but have left it's fine old vintage patina in place and leave any polishing and cleaning up to the buyer .
This lovely old fashioned gem has lots of nostalgic charm and looks great when worn as a necklace. The chain measures almost 31 inches long falling to that stylish opera length that is so graceful .
Any collector of Victorian - Edwardian era vintage artifacts will love this beautiful item.
If you need reading glasses, why settle for the mundane, this fabulous pair of lenses work great, look stylish, and makes a real statement about who you are !
