Vintage Eight Day Travel Clock - Engraved Sterling Case Description Pictured is a vintage 2 1/2"x3"x1/2" silver case, with ornately engraved initials ERC on the front. The case is stamped inside with the trade mark of William B. Kerr & Co. of Newark, and reads: Sterling 5177. The finish shows light wear in the form of small, faint scratches, but no significant dings, dents, or excessive wear. The exterior of the case has been recently cleaned, but the inside has a darkly tarnished patina. The case opens to reveal a 2" clock, marked 8 Days on the porcelain dial. The dial is free of chips and crazing. The movement is stamped Concord Co - 15 Jewels 2157461 Swiss. The movement is clean, and operates smoothly. I set the time, and partially wound the clock. It ran for a day until it ran down, and kept accurate time. Overall appearance is very good, but a good cleaning will produce a beautiful item. Shipping weight is one pound, and insurance is optional. Payment We prefer payment within 10 days of auction end. Please allow reasonable time for checks to clear. If you are an Tennessee resident and have a tax number, please let us know. Otherwise, you will be charged tax. We sincerely appreciate your business!
