VINTAGE EKA SWEDEN FOLDING POCKET KNIFE EKA-Knivar AB, was founded in Sweden in 1882 by Hadar Hallstrom, under the name 'Hadar Hallstrom Kniffabriks Aktiebolag,' and renamed, in 1917 as Eskilstuna Kniffabriks Aktiebolag. The company later used the abbreviated words, EKA-Knivar AB which is known throughout the World today. This auction is for a vintage beautiful EKA of Eskilstuna Sweden, Folding Knife. The handles on this knife have beautiful embellishments. On both sides t are very beautiful decorative Dragons and Nordic Scrolls, which are black enameling in brass. On one side t is the word, 'Sandvik' with a dragon. The other side has a picture in blue, black and white enameling of the building and says " Main Office Sandviken". It has a Nordic dragon scroll on each side of the building. T are three blades on this knife. The knife blade measures 1.75" and the words 'EKA Sweden' are stamped on the tang. The other two blades are a Nailfile, and also a Bottle Opener/Screwdriver. The blades on this beautiful knife are very tight and still have a crisp 'snap'. The knife measures 3" in the closed position. The blades are very bright and still have their original sharp factory edge! It comes with the original leather sleeve.
