This is an old hanging electric light fixture. The fixture has its great original finish, and it does work (the wiring is in good condition.) It has an old white glass shade, with an interesting design (the shade is a 6" fitter size). The entire item, from the top of the canopy to the bottom of the shade, measures about 38" (this would be easy to shorten by removing some of the chain links.)
