I am selling a vintage knee control green Elna Supermatic # 722010 sewing machine with the 4 origional discs that the machine came with. This machine has an " Elnagraph Regulating Device " in which you insert irregularly shaped discs which are called " Elna- discs". The Elnagraph Regulating Device- the brain of the Elna Supermatic makes it possible to do different stitches. The machine does run, the light works, I tried one disc and if you can see in the photos used the number 5 disc which made a bit of a fancy stitch. The only thing I noted was that according to the book; to change the disc you " remove a thumb nut and use an axle to tighten...to remove the disc use the disc lifter". This machine does not have a thumb nut nor a disc lifter removal tool but rather is spring loaded- the disc pops on following the instructions, and pops off by pushing down on a button at the top of the spring loaded axle. I used this several times and the last time I went to remove the disc I had a bit of difficulty- probably just because it has been sitting awhile. Comes with book (shows wear, the fold out page that was attached to the front cover torn off and no longer t- probably had previous owners name on it), 2 extra bobbins, the 4 origional discs #1,2,3 and 5; extra feet including a darning foot, button foot, zipper foot and cording foot, (to read more
