What a nice find! This is turn of the last century item, an all metal table, enamel finish, with pull out leaves on both long sides, and a 15" wide metal silverware drawer. Table top is white with black edges. Top is 40" long by 25" wide, and is 30" tall. With the leaves pulled out, it is about 42" wide. The leaves do tip a bit, so you wouldn't want to set your coffee cup on them and then tap your fingers, but the whole thing is in pretty darned good condition! Leaves pull out and drawer opens easily. The legs are two piece 'curved' chrome, in fairly good condition, will shine up pretty well. Was last used as a utility table in a basement, but I have almost every spot of paint off the top! I think this is in quite nice shape for being a depression era utility table. (might date to WWII but don't think so) Someone described a similar table as a 'Hoosier' table...I don't know if that is applicable, might be! This would be a great piece for a period kitchen, in a craft room, mud room, or even a sun porch. (B5.21) Although the legs are bolted on am not sure I'd get the bolts out, so this item must be picked up in Canton OH. ***If you use earthlink or another spam blocker, be sure to use the ebay message system so that I can communicate with you.
