I have for auction this vintage retractable tape measure it measure 2 inch in diameter Decorated in in pink enamel, with gilt decoration. There is a button to the centre, and when you press and pull the end the tape measure comes out. Press the button again and the tape will retract back in. It looks to date to either the art nouveau or deco period, it is really very pretty. Perfect for any collectors of measures, or sewing items. Thanks for looking
